Adult High Schools offer two (2) Diplomas

Nova Scotia High School Graduation Diploma 1) Nova Scotia High School Graduation Diploma

We will need to have a copy of an official
transcript to determine previous credits.

  • Eligible if currently enrolled in high school
  • May be eligible if out of school
    (dependent on number of high school credits attained)

2) Nova Scotia High School Graduation Diploma for Adults

  • If 19 years or older and out of school

Adult High School General Information
  • Full time day school for mature students.
  • General credits and Academic university preparatory credits.
  • Qualified teachers
  • Individualized instruction
  • An environment for self motivation
  • Small class size
  • A pleasant classroom atmosphere
  • Computers
Adult High School Entrance Requirements

1. High level of motivation
2. 18 years of age and older. (Will consider 17 year olds on an individual basis.)
3. Students must:

  • Contact the school
  • Fill out an application form
  • Provide transcripts if possible
  • Participate in an interview
  • Complete an academic screener (determined on an individual basis)
Adult High School Fees

No tuition required if you:

  • Do not have a graduation diploma
  • Are under the age of 21
Note: Book deposit fees and school fees may apply.

Start up Times (View 08/09 School Calendar)

  • September and February for selected courses
  • Continuous intake until March for selected courses
